The worlds of film and food collided at a North Texas barbecue joint when three cult-favorite characters of a seminal 2000s movie made an unexpected stop at one of the Lone Star State's most popular smokehouses.

Fans of Napoleon Dynamite may have done a double take upon spotting Napoleon, Pedro and Uncle Rico -- also known as Jon Heder, Efrin Ramirez and Jon Gries -- in line at Terry Black's Barbecue in Fort Worth. The location shared a video of the interaction to its TikTok this weekend.

"I heard you're the man to come to to put some hot meat in our mouth," Heder joked, to which an employee responded, "We are the man of the meats. Many, many meats. The best that Texas has to offer."

The employee called Terry Black's "the Rolls Royce of barbecue" while slicing up some brisket.

"I've become so hungry," Ramirez replied.

Gries popped his head into frame to shout out the establishment's side options, which range from creamy mac-and-cheese to ranch-style beans and more.

"Hey man, I'm not here for the meat, I'm here for the sides," Gries said.

Heder and Ramirez were handed a tray piled high with brisket, saucy ribs, beef sausage and turkey -- an unmistakable Texas spread. Grabbing it from either end, the two appeared to 'struggle' under the tray's weight as they carried it back to their table.

"Good luck, welcome to Terry Black's gentlemen," the employee offered as a send-off.
