It's restaurant deal season, and Palo Alto's Town & Country Village has joined the action.
The upscale shopping center's first "Taste of Town & Country" runs through Sunday, March 22.
There are deals at nine of the center's restaurants, plus opportunities for diners who take advantage of those promotions to win gift cards, merchandise and more.

Featured restaurant deals and menus:Horsefeather: One of the newest restaurants at the center, Horsefeather, has put together a four-course prix fixe meal for $65 per person. Start with an appetizer of Kimchi Deviled Eggs or Korean Wings, and then the salad course of Radicchio Caesar or Red Beets and Strawberries. The entree selections are Hanger Steak Frites, Seared Salmon or Wild Mushroom Linguine. Dessert is a Yuzu Custard Mini Tartlet.
Wildseed: This plant-based restaurant is offering a two-course prix fixe lunch and a three-course dinner. The $25 lunch choices are Beet Poke or Lentil Soup, followed by main choices of Masala Bowl or Crispy Impossible Chicken Wrap. The dinner menu (for two to share at $35 per person) includes Red Pepper Hummus with sides and a Mixed Grill with Beyond Sausage, cauliflower steak and more. Dessert is Lemon Poppyseed Shortcake with berries.

Teleferic Barcelona: Three special dishes are featured this week: Secret Paella, Huevos Rotos and Kale Salad.
Asian Box: A $20 deal for a box, drink and cookie.
Mamahuhu: Get a rice plate of your choice, plus a kid's size sundae of your choice and a jasmine tea soda for $18.

LuLu's: Customers can purchase a Mini Super Burrito for $5 (limit one per person; no seafood).
Oren's Hummus Express: The special creation for the week is Stuffed Schnitzel Rice Bowl, featuring schnitzel stuffed with feta and herbs on a bed of toasted almond and golden raisin basmati.
Retailers offering discounts during the week include Framebridge, Marigold Row, Wilby Optical and Briggs & Riley.

Beyond that, diners have a chance to win prizes. Here's how it works: Take the "Taste" tickets you receive when you eat at participating restaurants and turn them in at the retailers and restaurants whose giveaways interest you the most. One meal = one ticket. Prizes include silk scarves from Marigold Row, a travel grooming kit from Briggs & Riley, a $150 gift certificate for Wilby Optical by Alexander Daas, plus gift cards for the restaurants in the promotion.
